Testimony of Virginia Cuyos

Nagsakit akong tiyan, grabe kasakit akong gibati.
Permiro nakong adto, ila kong gi deliverance.
Makakaon nako ug tarong, di nako maglugaw, maka kaon nako ug gahi.
Pag adto nako sa Lapulapu nakit-an nila Bro. Clyde akoang pendant, katong naay baki baki ba, gitangtang nila, wala man ko kahibaw nga bawal diay to.

I had severe stomach pain that was unbearable. They bought me medicine, but it didn’t help. Thankfully, someone brought me to the Lapu-Lapu Missionary.

The first time I went there, they performed a deliverance on me. I went back two more times, and during the deliverance, when they placed the cross on my stomach, it felt warm. After my third visit, I was healed.

Now, I can eat properly. I don’t have to stick to soft food like porridge; I can eat solid food again. Through it all, I kept praying because I really wanted to get better.

Before, I used to swear a lot and criticize others, but I’ve stopped all that now. I’ve changed. I realized that one day, God will call us, so we need to be prepared.

In the past, I used to seek help from faith healers and witch doctors because I didn’t know about Catechism. But after learning about it, I stopped going to them and surrendered all my superstitious beliefs.

I surrendered items like three charms tied to my navel, a feng shui bracelet, a Sto. Niño figurine, and amulets for my husband and child. When I visited the Lapu-Lapu Missionary, Bro. Clyde saw my pendant with a frog design and removed it. I didn’t know it was wrong to have it until then.
